Introduction To Globalization- Part I

Globalization - Trend towards greater interconectedness and interdependance of the world.
Interdependance- Refers to all aspects of life that are connected.
Global Village- The thought of everyone in the world living in one big community

Globalization refers to:
  • Close relationships between countrys
  • Connections between economic, political, and social systems across the globe
  • Blurring of geographical boarders
  • Instant exchange of goods and services
The eight types of globalization:
  • Geographical
  • Ecological
  • Culteral
  • Finantial
  • Economical
  • Technological
  • Political
  • Socialogical
Everybody in the world is conected through
  • Food
  • Travel
  • Borders
  • Internete
  • Books
Social- The process by witch peoples lifestyles spread over the global networks.
Economic- The process of exploring the worlds thrading networks.
Political- The process by which political decisions and actions are becoming increasingly international government.

The most interesting thing I learned was about the Beothuks and the other first nations colonies
